Build-up, operation:

| - | PDR (Portable Data Recorder) microcomputer data logger,
which records the time, speed and coordinates of the
PDR (installed in vehicles) every 2 minutes in the
NV (Non Volatile) memory. |

Central unit :
| - | PC (practically at every company) |
| - | PDR power supply unit and PC cable. The data is downloaded
from the PDR to a PC via standard RS-232 serial port. |

| - | The data is transfered from the PDR to the PC at a
speed of 9600 baud. After downloading is completed
the memory of the PDR will be cleared and the system
is ready for data recording again. |
The basic software of the system:
| - | Communications software enabling the download from
PDR is installed on a Windows operated PC. |
| - | Graphical processing software that displays the downloaded
data on the A/4 format map of Hungary, is capable furthermore
of daily, weekly, monthly summarizing of the route. |
Optional programs:
Programs graphically display, store and print out the
rout covered by the vehicle in the selected period
of time. The software is also capable of zooming the
required area of the map. The basic package contains
the map of Hungary and that of larger Hungarian cities
but the system can be used anywhere in the world where
digital maps are available.
